HERITAGE RENOVATION
The
Robinson Group removed existing second story and built
a completely new second story. We created a structural
carriage to carry the new second story as the existing
heritage building was unable to support the weight of
new second floor,.We also created a five-bedroom layout
complete with two ensuite baths and one common bath while
maintaining the architectural integrity of the heritage
building both inside and out.

The heritage characteristics of the building were maintained
through review of historical records. For example, we
added a wrap around veranda (above right) which was
in keeping of a photograph taken in late 19th century
(above left).
The
extensive renovations include the master ensuite and
sitting room seen below.
